Per collection metrics are rated on a scale of 0 to 100, where 0 is the worst and 100 is the best.
The ranking score per metric is based off the the subset of products that are currently active in Australia and not discontinued
The formula works by taking the collection and comparing each individual products standard deviation from the mean, also known as the products z-score:
Ζ = (𝑥 - μ) / σ
Where:
𝑥 is the products metric
μ is the mean of the collections metric
σ is the standard deviation of the collections metric
The Ζ-scores are then sorted in ascending order and then assigned a more meaningful value, a score of 0 to 100.
The overall rating is the average of all rated metrics per collection, applied with the same general formula above.
Different collections have different metrics gathered, see the individual collections below for information on whats ranked per collection.
Some metrics have an applied weight to them also.
The value for money is same general formula above, although the score is the ranking of price mutiplied by the metric of overall
